"I spent 11 yrs in the construction field before I had my accident in 2012. I knew deep down that I wanted to stay in that field, and since I couldn't go back to my previous job what better way to stay in it then become a heavy equipment operator. I didn't know what to expect as I was stepping out of the only thing I've known for most of my employment career. But when I got here it didn't take me long to adjust. The Instructors were beyond amazing. Safety was key to succeeding along with hands on training while on the equipment. The ladies in the office helped in so many ways as well, through accommodations, schedules and employability classes. 18 weeks was my term and being here for as long as I have I've met some amazing people that I now call friends, at high velocity it's almost like a family and this experience I'll never forget."

“High Velocity Equipment has been the best experience I have ever had. I’ve always wanted to get into Heavy Equipment. All the staff and teachers are very respectful. I was so scared to do the 12 week course; I'm a bad speller and not a great reader. Every Instructor there had no problems with helping me. If I needed any help someone was always there to help. Before I could never read in front of people, the teachers gave me the confidence to do it and now I do all the time the confidence that I have gotten from everyone there.

"I just completed a three week course for Articulated Rock Truck training and I must say it was the most fun I've ever had learning. As a 50 year old woman returning to school, I was a bit nervous to say the least. I was treated with the utmost respect by everyone including the other students. The staff and instructors give 100% of themselves, their knowledge, support and experiences and were absolutely fantastic to work with. I highly recommend this college. Hundreds of women have traded in their high heels for dirty work boots and I am so proud to be one of them!

“I just graduated from the 3 week excavator course. It was an awesome experience; I gained so many viable skills to use towards my new career. The best part was that I wasn't stuck in a classroom for weeks; they put you in the equipment right away and keep you engaged by having a great time at the field site. The fellow students were happy to help me and give little tips and tricks, that was very cool. I did have funding issues and the Admissions staff were happy to help show me all the different funding options. All in all, what an amazing experience, I can’t say thank you enough and if you’re looking to change it up and play in the mud this place will help you do it.”
